We want you to get the most out of your vacation. For your own guidance, please carefully read and be sure that you fully understand the IMPORTANT NOTES and TERMS & CONDITIONS as stated below. Receipt of your payment represents your acknowledgement and acceptance of these terms and conditions. Your travel agent or Pacific Delight World Tours will be happy to clarify any questions you may have.

ACCOMMODATIONS: Cruise accommodations are based on double occupancy of twin-bedded stateroom with private bath. Triple occupancy in cabins is not available. For upgrade to suite cabins, contact our reservations department. All Yangtze River cruise ships are People's Republic of China registry.

Hotels are based on double occupancy. Single supplement is indicated on the itineraries. On occasions when accommodations must be assigned on a share basis due to insufficiency of single rooms, an appropriate refund will be made after returning to the United States. Triple room rates are not available. Hotels are subject to change. Substitutions, if any, are similar class to listed hotels.

MEALS: Meals are served as specified in the itineraries.

TOURS: Due to occasional flight delays or other unforeseen situations, it may not be possible to include some sightseeing tours as scheduled. Also, cultural and acrobatic shows and the Children's Palace performance may not be available during holidays and seasonal recess in China. If it becomes necessary to change the means of transportation or any other service, or for the tour to be prolonged through circumstances beyond the control of the ground operator, any additional tour cost must be borne by the passenger and is payable immediately. Due to varying water levels on the Yangtze River and/or construction at the Three Gorges Dam, Yangtze River cruise routes and shore excursions are subject to possible change.

ESCORTED TOURS: GOLD EXPERIENCE tours: A group size of 10 or more participants will be fully escorted from arrival in Asia by a professional U.S. Tour Director throughout the tour. With less than 10 passengers, the tour may be escorted or locally guided, depending on final group size; we reserve the right to alter arrangements to best accommodate a smaller group, or to cancel the tour.

IMPERIAL EXPERIENCE tours: A group size of 15 or more participants will be fully escorted by a professional U.S. Tour Director throughout Asia. A group size of 14-10 participants will be escorted by a bilingual Tour Manager throughout China and locally guided in Hong Kong, when applicable. A group size of less than 10 participants will be locally guided and we reserve the right to cancel the tour.

14 DAY CHINA & YANGTZE RIVER JEWISH HERITAGE Tour: A group size of 10 or more participants will be escorted by a bilingual Tour Manager throughout China. A group size of less than 10 participants will be locally guided and we reserve the right to cancel the tour.

ESCAPADE and SUPERVALUE tours (that include China): A group size of 10 or more participants will be escorted by a bilingual Tour Manager throughout China and locally guided in Hong Kong, Bangkok, Singapore and Japan, when applicable. A group size of less than 10 participants will be locally guided and we reserve the right to cancel the tour. 10 and 13-DAY YANGTZE RIVER tours and 13 DAY BEIJING, XI'AN & SHANGHAI tour are locally guided with 6 or more passengers and we reserve the right to cancel the tour.

SUPERVALUE tours (Japan): 8 DAY JAPAN and 12 DAY JAPAN tours are locally guided with 6 or more participants; we reserve the right to cancel the tour with less than 6 participants.

SUPERVALUE tours (Southeast Asia): 12 DAY THAILAND & GOLDEN TRIANGLE tour is escorted with 6 or more participants; locally guided with less than 6 participants and we reserve the right to cancel the tour. 15 DAY BANGKOK & MYANMAR and 15 DAY BANGKOK, VIETNAM & CAMBODIA tours are escorted in Myanmar and Vietnam and locally guided in Bangkok and Cambodia with 6 or more passengers; locally guided with less than 6 participants and we reserve the right to cancel the tours. 18 DAY THAILAND & GOLDEN TRIANGLE tour is locally guided with 6 or more participants; we reserve the right to cancel with less than 6 participants.

SINGLE DESTINATION TOURS & PRE/POST TOUR EXTENSIONS are locally guided with a minimum of 2 passengers, and we reserve the right to cancel the tour.

NOTE: 1. If any tour is operated with less than the minimum number of passengers, supplemental charges will apply. 2. Participants on locally guided tours will be transferred in each city, but will not be accompanied on flights between cities. When travel between cities is by motorcoach, a guide will travel with the group.

TRAVEL DOCUMENTS: U.S. passports with a six-month validity AFTER the date of return are required for all tour participants. Upon request, PDWT will secure the visa for entry into the People's Republic of China (not required for Hong Kong) for a nominal fee. All applications must be forwarded to the Chinese Consulate for their approval. PDWT cannot guarantee the acceptance of your visa application. If for any reason your application is denied, a full refund will be made on any payment. Once your China visa is processed, it is valid for 3 months from date of issue. Non-U.S. citizens should check visa and health requirements with appropriate consulates or their travel agent.
Please contact PDWT for information regarding Vietnam, Cambodia and/or Myanmar visas.

HEALTH: In general, tours are quite active and require a good deal of walking, frequently including stairs. Tibet requires travel into areas of high altitude and with extreme temperature fluctuation. We strongly recommend that you discuss any health concerns regarding these points with your personal physician.

Additional Assistance: In order to ensure the smooth operation of the tour for all group members, any traveler requiring special assistance must be accompanied by an adult who is responsible for providing all such assistance. Or you may ask PDWT to arrange for appropriate assistance, at an additional cost. Handicap access to some facilities may not be available at the same required levels standard in the US.

Currently, vaccinations are not required. As health requirements change without notice, please check with your personal physician or public health service for current required or recommended inoculations.

1. RESERVATION REQUEST: Upon receipt of your deposit, written confirmation/invoice and Passenger Information Form will be sent.
2. DEPOSIT: All Deposits, Travel Protection Insurance Fees, and Visa Fees may be paid by credit card (MasterCard, Visa, Discover, American Express), with signed credit card authorization form, or by check.
a.) Receipt of deposit confirms your reservation and is applied toward final payment.

3. CHINA VISAS: U.S. Passports with a six month validity AFTER the date of return should be sent to our office 45 days prior to departure date with a completed and signed Visa Application Form with an official passport-size color photo, including payment by credit card or check and is non-refundable once the visa is issued. Once your China visa is processed, it is valid for 3 months from date of issue.

If you are applying for your own visa: Photocopies of valid passport must be sent with deposit in order to process the booking. Passenger names must be as listed on the respective passports; any corrections required are subject to a $10.00 change fee.

4. FINAL PAYMENT:
a.) Air/Land Payment:
Due 75 days prior to departure and may be made by check or credit card, with signed authorization form.
b.) Land Only Payment:
Due 75 days prior to departure and may be made by check or credit card, with signed authorization form.
c.) Late Payment Fee:
$50.00 per person if payment is not received by 75 days prior to departure.
d.) Reservations made within 75 days:
While booking early ensures the widest choice of availability, we welcome your spontaneous travel plans. Final payment on bookings made less than 75 days prior to departure is due within three days of receipt of invoice to avoid the late payment fee, and is accepted by certified check or credit card, with signed authorization form.
e.) Administrative Handling Fee:
A nominal $50.00 per person administrative handling fee will be assessed on new reservations made within 45 days prior to departure.
f.) Promotional Discounts:
Valid only if final payment is received at least 75 days prior to departure. Discounts cannot be used towards deposit.

Pacific Delight World Tours, Inc. (hereinafter PDWT), the tour operator, reserves the right to cancel bookings not paid in full by the due date. During peak travel periods, it may be necessary to request your final payment more than 75 days prior to departure date, or to modify your tour arrangements to accommodate unforeseen circumstances due to the high demand for air, cruise and hotel space. You will be notified immediately should this situation arise.

5. REVISION FEES: A per-person fee for each revision will be assessed for any changes in air and/or land arrangements after the booking number has been issued and is under deposit. From initial reservation through issue date of documents/tickets:
     US $15.00 per person (plus supplier's penalties)
Once documents/tickets are issued, changes are not permitted and air tickets are non-refundable.
A change in departure date, or from one tour to another, is considered a cancelled trip and cancellation penalties will apply.
6. CANCELLATION FEES: All tours:

AIR INFORMATION:

PDWT will provide air transportation in conjunction with all land tours, based on the applicable air fares on United Airlines and participating carriers, subject to the rules and regulations of the class, fare and service of the individual airline. Tours that are published inclusive of air utilize contracted net fares in effect at time of printing (October 1, 2004) and are subject to change by the airline. Due to special contracted net agreements, supplements or credits for air deviations may not be equal to published air fare differentials.

Domestic carriers provide air transportation in China and Asia. Air fares are subject to change and any increase in air fare is not included in the tour fare.

Depending on air fare class used, the air fare may be non-refundable and subject to full cancellation penalties. Tour fare does not include any increase in air fare due to increase in fuel cost and/or for any other reason. Tour extensions may incur weekend surcharges. PDWT endeavors to follow the itineraries precisely; however, if flights are not available at the scheduled time, we reserve the right to modify the air and land arrangements for smooth operation of the tour.

BAGGAGE:
Baggage allowance differs for the transpacific and China sections of your tour. US transpacific allowance is two pieces of checked baggage. Maximum weight/size for each piece is 50 lbs./62 inches (sum of three dimensions). One carry-on not to exceed 45 inches (sum of three dimensions) is allowed. Baggage allowance within China is one piece of baggage not over 44 lbs. per person, plus a carry-on. Baggage in excess of one piece per person will result in excess baggage fees to be paid immediately upon demand. Pacific Delight World Tours does not assume any responsibility for loss or damage to baggage or passenger's belongings. It is at passenger's risk throughout.

LAND INFORMATION:
REFUND ON UNUSED OR CHANGED TOUR ARRANGEMENTS: Portions of land arrangements, hotel accommodations or any other service or feature of the tour which are not used are neither refundable nor exchangeable. Travel Protection Insurance and Visa handling fee is nonrefundable. Refund claims must be made in writing within 20 days of the termination of the tour. A written statement from the Tour Manager certifying the exact services not rendered must be attached to this claim.

TOUR FARE DOES NOT INCLUDE:
1. Fees for delivery of tour documentation to international destinations.

2. Airline and airport taxes, security charges and user fees, both domestic and international, which vary depending on itinerary, are not included in the tour fare.

3. Transportation of heavy baggage in excess of applicable allowance; cost of passport and visas; and all items of a personal nature.

4. The customary end-of-tour gratuity to tour managers and tips to local guides and drivers are not included. Tips to restaurant and hotel waiters, chambermaids and porters are not included.

5. Land fare does not include transpacific air USA/ first point of entry abroad on tour, last point of exit on tour/USA. Transfers between airport and hotel upon arrival and departure not included. Air sectors not included: SFO/PEK, SFO/SHA, SFO/HKG, SFO/BKK, SFO/SIN, HKG/SFO, SFO/NRT, SFO/OSA, NRT/PEK and vice versa.


International and domestic air schedules are subject to change at any time. If you make your own flight arrangements, Pacific Delight World Tours will not be responsible for any loss resulting from cancellations, delays, or changes in flight schedules.

RESPONSIBILITY: PDWT acts as tour operator and agent. The suppliers providing transportation, conveyance or accommodations are independent contractors and are not agents or employees of PDWT. All tickets, coupons and receipts issued by PDWT and all arrangements for transport or conveyance or for hotel accommodations are made by PDWT as agent of the suppliers. By utilizing the services of suppliers, you agree that neither PDWT nor any subsidiary or affiliate of PDWT shall be liable for any injury, damage, loss, accident or delay incurred by you or those traveling with you in connection with any accommodations, transportation or other services resulting directly or indirectly from any acts or default of the suppliers or from any occurrence or condition beyond the control of PDWT, including defects in vehicles or breakdown in equipment. Nor shall PDWT be liable for any injury, damage, loss, accident or delay resulting directly or indirectly from delays, cancellations or changes in flights, itineraries, schedules, steamers or other services, strikes, theft, sickness, weather, quarantine or other causes. By utilizing PDWT to arrange your tour you agree that PDWT is not responsible for any injury, damage, loss, accident or delay resulting, directly or indirectly, from delays, cancellations or changes in flights, itineraries, schedules, steamers, or other services caused by the acts of any Government, its local subdivisions, bureaus and/or authorities. All tour itineraries and fares may be affected by alterations or delays in air or surface transportation services of the various countries. PDWT reserves the right to withdraw any tour in this program and to make such alterations in the itineraries as may be found desirable for the convenience of the parties or the proper operation of the tour. PDWT reserves the right to decline to accept or to retain any person as a member of the tour party at any time.

Note: All tour fares shown are based on the present value of foreign currencies in relation to the US dollar in effect on October 1, 2004 and in current tariffs on the same date and are subject to change. The right is reserved to cancel the tour prior to departure for any reason. In such case, a full refund of all payments will constitute full settlement with the passenger.

The airlines concerned are not held responsible for any act, or event during the time the passengers are not on board their planes or conveyances. The passenger's contract in use by the airlines concerned, when issued, shall constitute the sole contract between the airlines and the purchaser of these tours and/or passenger. Any and/or all transportation companies herein mentioned shall have or incur no responsibility for liability to any traveler aside from their liability as common carriers. The carrier's international tariff is available for inspection by the passenger and will govern all aspects of the air transportation.

The General Conditions under which you agree to utilize the services of PDWT in arranging the tours in this brochure may not be amended in any way except in writing signed by an authorized officer of PDWT. By utilizing the services of PDWT, you agree the exclusive venue for all claims, actions or proceedings against PDWT of whatsoever nature arising out of this contract shall be the State of New York and such claim, actions or proceedings shall be determined according to the laws and jurisdiction of the State of New York.
