PASSENGER
TRAVEL PROTECTION PROGRAM Many things may happen which cause you to miss out on a trip or vacation. Without adequate insurance protection you may lose money you paid for your vacation. The Pacific Delight Tours Passenger Travel Protection Program is an affordable and practical way for you to insure your travel investment, and obtain other benefits. Trip Cancellation / Trip Interruption: If you or your traveling companion has to cancel or interrupt your trip due to a covered reason (e.g., unforeseen sickness, injury or death) you will be reimbursed up to the total cost of your trip. Trip Delay: If your trip is delayed for 12 or more hours due to a covered reason (e.g., inclement weather, strike, lost or stolen passports, etc.) you will be reimbursed, up to $500. MEDICAL PROTECTION Accident & Sickness Medical Expense: Should you become ill or injured while traveling, you will be reimbursed for covered medical expenses, up to $3,000 for an injury, and up to $3,000 for a sickness. Emergency Evacuation/ Repatriation of Remains: If any covered injury or sickness commences during the course of the trip results in your necessary emergency evacuation, you will receive benefits for covered expenses, up to $15,000. In the event your remains need to be transported, you will be covered for up to $15,000. BAGGAGE
PROTECTION Baggage Delay: If your checked baggage is delayed or misdirected by the airline for more than 24 hours, you will be reimbursed up to $300 for the purchase of necessary personal effects. TRAVEL ACCIDENT PROTECTION Accidental Death & Dismemberment: If you sustain a covered injury on the trip which results in death or dismemberment, your beneficiary will receive up to $10,000. Accidental Death & Dismemberment (Air Only): If you sustain a covered injury while aboard an air common carrier, a benefit of $30,000 will apply. WORLDWIDE EMERGENCY ASSISTANCE SERVICES The plan provides round-the-clock Worldwide Emergency Assistance services ranging from Emergency Cash Transfer Assistance, Medical Consulting and Monitoring, Emergency Legal Assistance, Emergency Medical and Dental Assistance, Lost Travel Documents Assistance, and Emergency Medical Payment Assistance. Notice: In the event of a claim, you must advise your travel agent, Pacific Delight Tours and BerkelyCare as soon as possible. The program will not pay benefits for any additional charges incurred that would not have been charged had you notified these parties as soon as reasonably possible.
